Snow

Well…I needed a creative title, and I guess that is a good one to catch a person’s eye since snow is almost impossible and far from our thoughts this time of year. Except that at the moment, Kevin is reading to Evan from one of the Little House on the Prairie books about a huge snowstorm. So I was trying to remember what snow was like and what it felt like to be cold. I’m sure we’ll find out again soon as winter usually comes much too quickly.

Evan & Ellie have been enjoying almost daily playtimes with their friends Miguel & Elisa. Here are some shots from today:

Sitting and enjoying the sounds of water at a fountain here in Granada this past Sunday. That’s Evan & I silhouetted and we happen to be enjoying ice-cream as well.

You're right -- that is a good way to catch people's attention...I saw the title and I was like WHAT??! :)

That's great that Evan and Ellie have playmates. We're looking forward to our next city where we will hopefully be able to find kids for our girls to connect with. As always, it's great to see pictures of you all. C

It got my attention! I have no memory of what it feels like to be cold anymore!! The only time we see "snow" is when we scrape the frost from the freezer and let the girls play in it on the floor. :)It was fun reading about the snow in LHoP- Claire loved it that Pa ate the Christmas candy in the snow cave. :) Candice

LOL!! That was definately an eye catcher! :) I hope it will cool down soon for you all!

Great post. But if you want us to fully enter into the fountain experience with you, you must tell us what flavor of ice cream you are enjoying!
