Coffee shops and such
Last week, we enjoyed having a group from the United States here with us. The group consisted of Paul Kurtz and his son Trent, Mike Simpson, and Jason and Mary Coblentz. Paul, Mike, and Jason are all businessmen and part of the Rosedale Business Group. Their intention for being here was to look into the possibility of setting up coffee shops here in Spain.
We spent the first couple of days in Malaga (about two hours from Granada) looking at the prospect of setting up a coffee shop in a large church/community center on the outskirts of the city of Malaga. Later on in the week, we spent several days in Granada also researching possibilities of starting a coffee shop here. It was great to hear their perspective and counsel. While things look quite positive regarding the start-up in Malaga, things seem quite a bit more uncertain about doing something here in Granada. Please continue to pray for us that God would give us wisdom and discernment regarding our future here. Pray that God will fill our good ideas and acts of faith with his own energy so that it all amounts to something (II Thess. 1:12).
After our time in Malaga and Granada, we were treated with a whirlwind, weekend trip to Gibraltar and Morocco. While we had some unexpected events, overall we had a very enjoyable time.
